At our math department meeting today we looked at Alison Blank’s Prezi Math is not Linear. I recommend it, it’s both a thoughtful comment on math curriculum and pedagogy and a good demonstration of the Prezi style of presentation. I found I agreed, at least in spirit, with much of what she had to say. I think that her suggestions on changing pedagogy are more easily implementable than large-scale changes in curriculum, though. I’d love to hear comments on what she has to say.
