More cool numbers

I just made a short series under the “cool numbers” heading, about why 15 and 290 are cool. It gives a quick introduction to the idea of universal quadratic forms, and work of Conway, Bhargava, and others.

When I’m not so busy preparing to teach for the Global Online Academy, I might post another short series about why 2400, 2401, 4374, and 4375 are cool. If you want to find out for yourself, try here or try watching this for a rather long time.
