Videos: Advanced Math for a General Audience

These are YouTube versions of lectures that I have given to the local branch of a senior citizens’ group called OASIS. They assume familiarity with high school math and a willingness to be a little challenged, but they are intentionally non-technical. Some are about the Clay Math Institute‘s Millenium Prize Problems. (I plan to eventually upload the lectures I’ve done for all seven problems.)

Millennium Prize Problem Videos

The Riemann Hypothesis (5 videos)

The Birch and Swinnerton-Dyer Conjecture (6 videos)

The Hodge Conjecture (6 videos)

The Yang-Mills Problem (6 videos)

Other videos

A World of Waves (7 videos about the impact of Fourier analysis on math, science, and technology)
